Cherokee RWD #16 is seeking individuals to fill the current employment opportunities: Administrative Assistant and Operator

Cherokee county rural water district #16, is now accepting applications for a full time laborer/operator:

Work requires lifting of heavy weights of up to 100 pounds. Working in awkward or uncomfortable positions is a regular part of the job.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Oklahoma Class D Drivers License is required and CDL Class A with AB endorsement preferred. No previous experience required but, it is desirable that applicant has backhoe experience and possess or is able to obtain a D water license. On the job training will be provided.

All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use....
